Cards
Each round uses a target card type. Mimics are wild and count as any target.
| Card |
Meaning |
| π Crown | One possible round target. |
| π¦· Fang | One possible round target. |
| πͺ Coin | One possible round target. |
| π Mimic | Wild card. Counts as any target. |
Turn Flow
- The bot chooses a target: Crowns, Fangs, or Coins.
- Each active goblin receives a private hand.
- The current player plays 1-3 cards face-down and claims they match the target.
- The next goblin either plays cards or calls the previous claim a lie.
- When lie is called, the played cards are revealed and the wrong goblin takes a Curse Roll.
Curse Rolls
Curse Rolls are the elimination system. Each goblin starts at 1/6 risk.
| Survived Curse Rolls |
New Risk |
| 0 | 1/6 |
| 1 | 2/6 |
| 2 | 3/6 |
| 3 | 4/6 |
| 4 | 5/6 |
| 5 | 6/6 β next failed Curse Roll is guaranteed banishment. |
Trick Cards
π¨ Smoke Puff
Hides your next played card count so the table sees that you played βsomeβ cards face-down.
πΎ Greedy Paw
Privately peek at one random card from another goblin's hand.
πͺ Cursed Coin
Places a curse on another goblin. Their next Curse Roll rolls twice and uses the worse result.
Basic Strategy
- Do not call every suspicious play. Wrong calls punish you.
- Track what players claim across turns.
- Mimics make true claims easier than they look.
- Bluffing with 1 card is safer; bluffing with 3 cards is easier to challenge.
- Use Smoke Puff before a risky play.
- Use Greedy Paw before calling someone who seems confident.
- Use Cursed Coin on a goblin who is already under pressure.
Bot Setup Notes
The bot needs these Discord permissions to create private channels, manage lobby access, and clean up finished games:
- Manage Channels
- Manage Roles
- View Channels
- Send Messages
- Read Message History
- Mention Everyone, optional; only needed for non-mentionable role pings
Keep the bot role above the selected member role in Server Settings β Roles.
